If you’re studying to be in the health sector, check these organisations within Unite – the Union. The organisations work for you and can provide support during your study and placement.
During the next few months we will be researching our methods in organising health students, we hope that in the future academic year we will be launching a organising campaign that will informatively encourage Health Students to join.
As a student in the health sector you may want to join Unite because it’s the biggest Union in the country with 2 million members.
It may be because our health sector is the second largest group in Unite where you will become one of our hundred thousand members.
It could be because of our strong history of campaigning to defend public services and it’s fighting to improve the working conditions for our members so they can provide the best care for people in the UK.
Across the health sector there are 7 professional bodies which directly work for the benefit of its members.
