That’s nice, but what the hell is a Trade Union?

A trade union is an organisation that represents people at work. They act to protect and improve peoples pay and conditions of employment. They also campaign for laws and policies, which will help people both at home and at work.

How do you Unite Working Students?

We aim to set up Unite Student Societies at Universities.

What’s a society?

Every Student Union in Higher Education operates a 'Society' facility for its students. The facility allows for a group of students who come together in a group to be recognized by the student union and have access to its facilities such as press, meeting rooms, offices and sports facilities. It also means you’re an active part of the student union!
